A few days ago my grandma came over with a bunch of Halloween crafts for us to do–it was really fun (Grandma’s are actually super awesome…)! We did two crafts that were tons of fun!
Spooky Word Craft-
I know, the name is lame. Any other ideas? Anyway, my grandma bought us those small wood letters that you buy at Walmart or Michaels or other craft stores (they’re around $1.50 to $4 each depending on where you buy them) to spell out “BOO”, “BEWARE” , “EEK”, and others. Then we got out paint, ribbon, stickers, glitter, googly eyes, etc. and let our creative juices flow 😉 When done, we put magnets on the back of some to hang them up or just set them on the counter.
They turned out really well!
These were a real favorite! And so simple as well 🙂 You just need:
- Chocolate “Candy Melts” (like these ones–there are lot’s of different colors!)
- Chocolate molds (like the ones found here or here)
- a Microwave 😉
- Paintbrushes (I would suggest using new ones so you don’t get paint residue on your dessert!)
All you do is follow the directions on the chocolate melts to melt it, paint some colored chocolate onto the mold, and fill it up with regular milk or dark chocolate melts. Then you freeze them for 5-15 minutes and they’re done (and delicious)!!
Both crafts are lots of fun and don’t take much effort at all. I hope you have a wonderful time! Let me know how it goes 🙂 What are some of your favorite Halloween crafts?
